Hotel Forecast Integrity Review

A hotel forecast can miss actual performance in different directions across successive review periods. This review separates absolute forecast error from directional bias using comparable frozen forecast horizons.

About this interactive

Review a fictional hotel forecast history at a fixed 60-day horizon and see whether misses are concentrated, balanced, or directionally persistent. The public view uses sanitised scenarios within our Hospitality FP&A practice.

Scope: each included observation compares an actual financial result with a 60-day frozen forecast for the same financial measure, unit, and property scope. Percentage-error measures are intentionally omitted because zero or negative actual values can make them undefined or misleading.
